Classic car owners are invited to proudly display their vehicles and compete for several prizes, and I look forward to seeing what our community vendors will offer for sale.”Pets in costume will have the chance to compete for prizes. Instead of a registration fee, applicants are encouraged to donate worth of dog or cat food for local rescues or infant diapers, formula, or wipes for baby diaper banks. Park admission will be complimentary during the event hours.The city of Las Vegas is inviting residents to the Family Spring Fling, a free community event scheduled for Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs, located at 9200 Tule Springs Road.To participate in the car show, interested individuals must complete an application available on the city’s website here.Additional information on Ward 6 events is available by calling 702.229.5463 or visiting www.LasVegasNevada.gov/Ward6.Car show check-in begins at 8 a.m., and winners will be announced at 2 p.m., with prizes awarded in categories such as Best in Show, Most Creative with Spring Décor, Crowd Pleaser, Little Chick Pick, and Councilwoman Brune’s Favorite.Hosted by Ward 6 Councilwoman Nancy Brune and the city of Las Vegas, the festival promises a day of fun for all ages. Artists and community vendors interested in participating can apply online by April 16.
