HELUVA GOOD DIP WCC BEACH VOLLEYBALL PAIR OF THE WEEK – ABBEY THORUP, SR., AND LISA LUINI, SR. – LMU
Abbey Thorup and Lisa Luini didn’t lose a set all weekend at the East Meets West at ATX Beach. The pair played on court three in three duals against nationally-ranked opponents and never allowed more than 18 points to any of them. The duo started with a 21-18, 21-13 win over No. 18 Georgia State, contributing to the team sweep. Thorup and Luini later clinched the dual in a 3-2 win over No. 12 LSU with a 21-18, 21-9 win. Against No. 10 Texas, Thorup and Luini claimed a dual point with a 21-17, 21-18 win over the host Longhorns.
