Larramendy and McBryde have traded matches over the last year, but Larramendy left no doubt with a 13-0 technical fall in the first period. The Hawkeye had three four-point sequences in the victory.

After Bayless, Emilie Gonzalez and Val Solorio each reached the semifinals, only Bayless remains standing. In a battle of NCWWC champions, Bayless had three takedowns and a turn to defeat Gonzalez. Val Solorio, Emilie Gonzalez and Ava Bayless have all reached the final four, with NCWWC champions Gonzalez and Bayless squaring off against one another and Solorio drawing Life’s Anaya Falcon.

From losing at the Soldier Salute a year ago to McBryde, Larramendy flipped the script fairly easily. Now, she and Macey Kilty are matched up in the Soldier Salute finals at 145 pounds and would put on a show if they competed.
