Livvy Dunne and LSU Gymnasts Post Mother's Day Tributes

It’s no secret that youth sports can be time consuming for parents. In order to be great, it can take countless hours of practice and preparation. Perhaps nowhere is this more true than in the world of competitive gymnastics. Most, if not all, of the LSU gymnastics squad have been mastering their craft since they were toddlers. While it takes tremendous dedication to acquire the skills to perform at the top levels, it also takes sacrifice off the mats. For this reason, the ladies took a moment to honor mom on her special day.

LSU gymnastics shared a series of pictures on Instagram of the gymnasts with their mothers and the caption, “Couldn’t do it without them. Happy Mother’s Day!” The pictures included Sierra Ballard, Haleigh Bryant, Aleah Finnegan and Livvy Dunne all with their mothers.

Additionally, Lexi Zeiss posted on Instagram stories, “Happy Mother’s Day, Mom. I love you. I’m forever grateful for you.” Future LSU Tiger Hezly Rivera posted on Instagram stories, “Happy Mother’s Day to the best mom anyone could ask for. Thank you for always being by my side through everything and always supporting me no matter what. I love you!” Livvy Dunne’s sister Julz also wrote on her Instagram story, “Happy Mother’s Day to the best mom in the world.”

Livvy herself had a humorous post on her dog Roux’s Instagram that said, “Happy Mother’s Day to my mama…I woof you, Mama!” She also posted a sonogram with Roux in the womb. Livvy then replied from her own Instagram, “I love you. Thank you for the post, Roux.”
