Juan Sotelo provided the offense for the Vikings (4-0) with two goals in the victory. Sotelo scored a goal in each half of the contest.

Vanden continues its season on Tuesday with a home game against Rio Linda.

Girls Soccer

Vacaville 0, St. Francis 0

The Vacaville High girls soccer team tied St. Francis 0-0 on Friday night.

The Bulldogs are now 3-0-2 on the season. Vacaville plays at Benicia on Wednesday in a nonleague contest.

Girls Basketball

Vacaville 68, Armijo 22

The Vacaville High girls basketball team cruised to a victory on Friday night, defeating Armijo 68-22.

Leading the way for the Bulldogs was Lula Kifle, who scored 18 points. Gianna López scored 13 points, while Lucia Addiego added another eight points of her own.

Vacaville improved to 3-3 overall on the season with the win.

Vanden 65, Grant 32

The Vanden High girls basketball team defeated Grant 65-32 on Friday night.

With the win the Vikings improved to 3-1 overall on the season.

Davis Sr. 59, Wood 33

The Will C. Wood girls basketball team lost to Davis Sr. on Saturday 59-33.

With the loss the Wildcats fell to 5-5 on the year. They play next on Tuesday at Vintage High.

Boys Basketball

Placer 66, Vacaville 60

The Vacaville High boys basketball team lost to Placer 66-60 on Friday night.

With the loss the Bulldogs are now 0-6 on the season. Vacaville played River Valley on Saturday and continue its season on Tuesday against Kimball.

McClatchy 68, Wood 57

The Will C. Wood boys basketball team lost to McClatchy 68-57 on Saturday.

The Wildcats fell behind 43-29 at the half and could never get back into the game.

With the loss Wood is now 6-2 on the season. Its next game is Tuesday against Vacaville Christian.
