Congratulations to all of the Mammoth Husky Ski and Snowboard Teams and many thanks to all who supported them to their victory!
“This was a big win where everyone from our team contributed in their own way from the very beginning of the season,” said MHS Team Director, Connie Moyer and Snowboard Team Coach Erick Sugimura. “Everyone had a special roll to win it all from our fastest racers to those who worked as gatekeepers and binding technicians.  In other words, everyone counted to become Champions!  Some had to sacrifice not racing 100% (like our three snowboard men’s team of Rylen Nash, Grayson Hodges and Aiden Brocia) in order to finish and give us our complete team points.

“In the end at the awards, we did not know if we won and the excitement brought me to tears because this was such a team hard fought effort!” Moyer said.

After the CNISSF State Championships at Sierra @ Tahoe, seven of our MHS Ski Team Members were selected to compete at the US High School Western Region Championships.  This all-star type event held at Grand Targhee, WY, was a competition against nine other states in the Western part of the country.
