NEW ROCHELLE, NY— Marist women’s lacrosse will travel to New Rochelle, NY, to face Iona in its second MAAC matchup of the season on Saturday, March 29. 
The contest will begin at noon and will be streamed on Iona Insider.

  • The Red Foxes defeated Rider 18-12 after scoring 10 goals in the first half.
  • The 18 goals marked a new season high for Marist.
  • Kate Gaven recorded seven points, scoring four goals and adding three assists.
  • Anne Shine tallied a career-high six goals.
  • Jesse Manger scored once and assisted on four goals.
  • Marist improved to 1-0 in MAAC play.

 

  • Anne Shine’s six goals in the win over Rider earned her MAAC Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week honors.
  • Shine scored a total of 10 goals across two games this week.
  • She also netted four goals in a win against California.

 

  • Iona is 2-6 overall and 1-0 in MAAC play.
  • The Gaels opened their conference schedule with a 16-7 win at Quinnipiac.
