MANKATO, Minn. – Minnesota State men’s hockey was ranked No. 11 in this week’s national USCHO.com Division I men’s hockey poll. The Mavericks were also No. 12 in this week’s USA Hockey/The Rink Live Top-20 poll.
Minnesota State (14-4-2, 9-1-2 CCHA) completed a weekend sweep over Lake Superior State on Saturday and are unbeaten over their last 11 games. MSU also extended its win streak to six in a row.
With a sweep over No. 1 Minnesota, Michigan State ascended to No. 1 in the USCHO.com rankings, followed by Boston College, Minnesota, Maine and Denver.
The Mavericks play next on December 30 against Manitoba at 3 p.m. at Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center.
