HANOVER, N.H.—The nominees for the MA Sorensen Award have been announced and a pair of Dartmouth women’s rugby players have been named as nominees. Senior Asialeata Meni and sophomore Cindy Taulava have earned nominations.

Meni has now been named a nominee for the award in back to back seasons. In February, she was named to the All-NIRA First Team for the third straight season. In her final 15s campaign she tallied four tries. She closes her 15s career with 115 points and 23 tries for Dartmouth.
Taulava also earned All-NIRA First Team honors this season after being an honorable mention in 2023 as a first-year. She now has 12 career tries over the last two seasons after scoring three tries season.
