Sioux City, Iowa – The Ottawa men’s bowling team posted two top five finishes as they competed at Mustang Invitational I and II.
On Saturday, the Braves posted a 4,893 pinfall for five team games, good for second place. Matthew Berg and Joseph Enderle each made the All-Tournament Team in third and fourth place with 1,075 and 1,074 pinfalls for five games.
On Sunday, Ottawa had a 4,636 pinfall for one team game and 20 baker games, putting them in fifth place. Enderle led the Braves in the team game with a 210.
Coach Poston’s Thoughts
“It was good to get everyone back in action. These patterns were difficult, and I think our performance (men & women) will let us look back and see the things that need to be tightened up this week so we can put together a couple strong showings in Vegas next week. Shout out to the JV women for picking up some more hardware and winning both JV tournaments.”

The Ottawa bowling teams are back in action on December 18-19 at the Glenn Carlson Invitational, the first of back-to-back tournaments in Las Vegas. Both tournaments are at the South Point Bowling Plaza.
