Weather has shrunk tonight’s featured MLB slate down to just nine games, but there’s still a ton of interesting players to choose from for your lineups. Some might even say there’s too many.

That’s where I come in. Let’s make things a little simpler. Here’s three assets you must have in your player pool for Tuesday’s action on DraftKings.

Set your DraftKings fantasy basketball lineups here: NBA $300K Bat Flip [$100K to 1st]

SP Cole Ragans, Kansas City Royals vs. Minnesota Twins, $8,100

This is a pretty stacked pitching night towards the top of the pricing list, yet I still can’t figure out the logic behind giving Ragans such a low salary. The left-hander looked amazing in his last outing, and while Ragans only lasted five innings against Milwaukee, he made the most of his time on the mound, striking out 10 and finishing with 25.1 FPTS. This wasn’t some flash in the pan performance, either. Remember that Ragans’ 3.31 xERA was the sixth-best mark among all qualified pitchers in baseball in 2024, as was his 29.3% strikeout rate. How does that translate into him being the eighth-most expensive starter on this slate?

It’s a dream matchup, too. The Twins bats haven’t been able to accomplish anything so far this season, as Minnesota comes into tonight’s tilt hitting below the Mendoza line (.199) and sitting 27th in the league in wRC+ (68). I’d like Ragans at this price against anyone. The fact that he’s facing a floundering Twins team is just icing on the cake.

OF Seiya Suzuki, Chicago Cubs vs. Texas Rangers, $5,200

Suzuki has always hit left-handed pitching exceedingly well and that trend has certainly continued so far in 2025. For his MLB career, the Japanese import has slashed .286/.382/.479 with a 138 wRC+ within the split. In his 13 plate appearances versus southpaws this season, Suzuki owns a .538 OBP and two of his three hits have left the park. Like I said, the man can hit a lefty. Tonight, the left-hander is question is Patrick Corbin ($6,400), who happens to own MLB’s highest qualified ERA going back to the beginning of 2021 (5.71). Everyone’s had success against Corbin in this span, but it’s worth noting Suzuki’s career numbers. In 10 at-bats, the 30-year-old is hitting .400 off the veteran LHP with a pair of home runs. It’s so nice when stats and results line up like that, right?

OF Kameron Misner, Tampa Bay Rays vs. Los Angeles Angels, $2,800

For a guy who didn’t even make the Rays’ Opening Day roster, Misner has been turning heads in 2025. Injuries to Richie Palacios (finger) and Josh Lowe (oblique) have created a ton of playing time for the rookie outfielder, and so far Misner has taken full advantage, slashing .375/.360/.625 with a .399 expected wOBA and a 174 wRC+ across 25 plate appearances. It’s obviously a small sample, but Misner’s showcased 20/20 potential in the minor leagues and his strikeout issue shouldn’t be too much of a factor in tonight’s matchup with Kyle Hendricks ($6,600). The veteran RHP survived his first outing with the Angels, yet still allowed seven hits over six innings. Hendricks posted a 5.92 ERA in 2024. I don’t believe that was an aberration.
