When head coach Keith Vroman was asked about the team’s showing at the Dean Hayes Classic, he remarked: “It was a solid beginning to the season, and it was encouraging to witness our sprinters and jumpers compete for the first time this year. We will take what we accomplished this weekend and carry that momentum into our next meet in January. It was great to finish the meet on a high note by winning both the men’s and women’s 4×400.”
