NASCAR Cup Series race at Michigan: Live updates, highlights, leaderboard

Published

on

The NASCAR Cup Series returns to the Irish Hills at Michigan International Speedway for the FireKeepers Casino 400 on June 8.

This is the only 2-mile oval race on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule for 2025 after Auto Club Speedway in California has undergone significant construction changes, with the facility ending in a short track.

Sunday’s race is the first of three that will help set the new in-season tournament bracket. The 32-driver field is set, and each driver’s best finish over the races at Michigan, Mexico City and Pocono will set the seeding for the first round in Atlanta.

Ryan Blaney is coming off his first win of the 2025 season with the June 1 win at Nashville Superspeedway. Tyler Reddick won the 2024 Michigan race but has not yet won in 2025.
