NASCAR Dover qualifying live results: Cup Series starting lineup
The NASCAR Dover race weekend begins for the Cup Series with practice and qualifying on July 19 ahead of the next day’s AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400 at Dover Motor Speedway.
A portion of the field will certainly be happy to be back on an oval following a couple weeks on road courses. Shane van Gisbergen is running for his third win in a row though he’s not expected to contend this weekend. SVG has one top-15 finish in 16 non-road course races this year.
Denny Hamlin is the defending race winner, and he and Kyle Larson could both use bounce-back weekends in pursuit of the regular season championship.
