NASCAR qualifying results, Phoenix race starting lineup set

Denny Hamlin is on the pole for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship race on Nov. 2 at Phoenix Raceway.

Hamln’s lap of 26.914 seconds was less than a half-tenth faster than William Byron to win the pole in the Nov. 1 qualifying session.

Among the Championship 4 drivers, Kyle Larson will start third while Chase Briscoe will start 12th.
