NASCAR race has a new date for 2026 in the Poconos, and tickets are already available
The NASCAR Cup Series will return to the Pocono Raceway for a tripleheader weekend June 12-14, 2026, marking the 53rd consecutive year of NASCAR racing at the legendary “Tricky Triangle.”
The raceway announced the events last week. Three days of racing action on the 2.5-mile track will begin with the ARCA Menards Series on Friday, June 12. The NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series will take to the track on Saturday, June 13, leading up to Sunday’s main event – the NASCAR Cup Series race.
The Cup Series race, scheduled for June 14, has become one of NASCAR’s most popular events, having sold out for three consecutive years. The 2026 date represents a slight schedule adjustment, taking place one week earlier than the 2025 event.
The ARCA Menards Series’ return to Pocono adds historical significance to the weekend. The series has a rich history at the track, having first raced there in 1969 and completing 70 races on the triangle configuration since 1983.
Notable NASCAR stars who earned early career victories at Pocono in ARCA competition include Joey Logano, Kyle Larson, Ty Gibbs, and most recently, Jesse Love in 2023.
While the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will be absent from the 2026 weekend due to scheduling conflicts, track officials anticipate its return in 2027.
Tickets are now available at poconoraceway.com, with Cup Series admission starting at $65.
The track’s “Kids Free” program continues, allowing children 12 and under to attend all three days of racing at no cost when accompanied by a ticketed adult.
Race start times and broadcast details will be announced at a later date.
