NASCAR team adding a fourth car, first time in team history
23XI Racing have steadily grown since joining the NASCAR Cup Series in 2021. They started out as as one-car team before adding a second car in 2022, and after running a third car in select races over the past couple of years, they added a third full-time entry in 2025. Now, for the first time […]

23XI Racing have steadily grown since joining the NASCAR Cup Series in 2021. They started out as as one-car team before adding a second car in 2022, and after running a third car in select races over the past couple of years, they added a third full-time entry in 2025.
Now, for the first time in team history, they are set to run four cars in this Sunday afternoon’s AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway.
Bubba Wallace drives the No. 23 Toyota, rookie Riley Herbst drives the No. 35 Toyota, and Tyler Reddick drives the No. 45 Toyota. For the first time this year, the team are set to add the No. 67 Toyota for Corey Heim, their development driver who competes full-time in the Truck Series for TRICON Garage.
It is also set to mark the first primary sponsorship of a Cup car for Robinhood.

Corey Heim set for first 23XI Racing start of 2025
Heim, who made one Cup Series start for the team last year at Nashville Superspeedway, is also set to drive the No. 67 Toyota at the Chicago Street Course on Sunday, July 6.
Additionally, Robinhood is set to serve as the primary sponsor of Wallace’s No. 23 Toyota in the playoff races at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday, September 13 and Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday, October 12.
Under NASCAR’s new charter agreement, teams are not allowed to operate with more than three charters, unless they previously had four. As a result, Hendrick Motorsports and Joe Gibbs Racing are effectively “grandfathered in” at four, while 23XI Racing remain capped at three charters.
Having said that, Heim’s No. 67 Toyota is still locked into Sunday’s race, as there are only two non-chartered (open) cars on the entry list, bringing the entry total to 38. Cup Series races are capped at 40 cars. The other open car set to compete on Sunday is the No. 33 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet, which is set to be driven by Jesse Love.
Tune in to Fox Sports 1 at 3:00 p.m. ET this Sunday, May 11 for the live broadcast of the AdventHealth 400 from Kansas Speedway. Begin a free trial of FuboTV now and don’t miss any of the action!

The first-ever NASCAR In-Season Challenge champion will be crowned at the 2025 Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Sunday’s race at 2 p.m. ET is the fifth and final race of the inaugural in-season challenge, with the victor being awarded $1 million. NASCAR at Indianapolis 2025 will also shape the Cup Series standings, in which Chase Elliott currently sits atop. However, it is Denny Hamlin who is coming off his season-leading fourth victory and who is the +440 favorite in the latest Brickyard 400 2025 odds.
Kyle Larson won this race last year and is at +550 according to the 2025 NASCAR at Indianapolis odds. Larson overtook Ryan Blaney in overtime of last year’s race, with Blaney coming in at +700 and Elliott listed at +1000. The two drivers battling for the in-season challenge crown in Ty Gibbs (+1900) and Ty Dillon (+50000) are both NASCAR longshots. Before entering any 2025 Brickyard 400 picks, be sure to see the latest 2025 NASCAR at Indianapolis predictions from SportsLine’s proven projection model.
Developed by daily Fantasy pro and SportsLine predictive data engineer Mike McClure, this proprietary NASCAR prediction model simulates every race 10,000 times, taking into account factors such as track history and recent results.
McClure’s model began the 2025 season by calling Chase Elliott’s win in the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray for a +300 payout. Then it went on to predict Kyle Larson in Miami (+350), Christopher Bell’s NASCAR All-Star Race win (+600), Denny Hamlin’s win in Michigan (+650), Shane van Gisbergen’s win in Mexico City (+330), Elliott’s win in Atlanta (+1500) and van Gisbergen again in Chicago (+150) and Sonoma (+125).
All told, the model has nailed eight winners this year and a whopping 26 winners since 2021. Anyone who followed its lead on betting apps and sportsbooks on those NASCAR picks could have seen huge returns. New users also have the opportunity to take advantage of the latest Bet365 promo code, Caesars Sportsbook promo code and Fanatics Sportsbook promo code.
Now, the model simulated the 2025 Brickyard 400 10,000 times. Head to SportsLine to see the complete projected NASCAR at Indianapolis leaderboard.
Top 2025 Brickyard 400 predictions
For Sunday’s 2025 Brickyard 400, the model is high on Joey Logano, even though he’s a longshot at +2700 in the latest 2025 NASCAR at Indianapolis odds from FanDuel. He’s a target for anyone looking for a huge payday, and first-time users can also get $150 in bonus bets if their first bet wins with this FanDuel promo code.
Logano’s experience at this track can’t be discounted as just two active drivers have more Brickyard starts than his 13. He was involved in a crash with Jimmie Johnson at last year’s race, resulting in neither finishing, but prior to that, Logano always found himself in contention for the checkered flag. Over his 10 prior Brickyard starts, seven of them resulted in top 10 finishes, with the lone outlier being when he placed 13th in 2018.
He led for double-digit laps in half of those starts at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, with one stage victory and a pair of runners-up in the main races. Logano also has the backing of a team that knows its way around The Brickyard as multiple Penske drivers have achieved top 10s at each of the last three runnings of this race. With Logano also having top 15s in each of his last three starts this season, he’s in a great position to outperform his long Brickyard 400 odds. Get $150 in bonus bets instantly at Fanduel if your $5 bet wins.
The model has also revealed a shocking NASCAR prop for Sunday: Christopher Bell finishes top five for a +160 payout. He’s a potentially a strong value pick for your Brickyard NASCAR prop bets at DraftKings, where new users can get $150 in bonus bets after a $5 wager with this DraftKings promo code.
After three straight top-5 finishes in the Cup Series standings, Bell is knocking on that door again in 2025 as he sits in sixth place entering Sunday’s race. Indianapolis Motor Speedway could help Bell improve upon his standing as it’s a 2.5-mile track and Bell has dominated on these intermediate circuits. His 8.6 average finish on 2.5-mile intermediate tracks since 2022 is the second-best in the sport, and that includes finishing fourth at last year’s Brickyard 400.
Despite starting 18th in that race, Bell found his way to the front of the pack and led for multiple laps. He held his own in his only other Brickyard start, placing 12th in 2020. Pocono Raceway is the other 2.5-mile intermediate track on the Cup Series, and Bell has placed among the top dozen in three of his last four starts there. This season, Bell’s eight top 5s trail just two other drivers, while his average finish (12.6) and three victories trail just one other driver. See which other drivers to back and the rest of the projected NASCAR leaderboard at SportsLine.
How to make 2025 NASCAR at Brickyard picks
The model is also targeting three other drivers with Brickyard NASCAR odds of 12-1 or longer to make a serious run at the checkered flag. Anyone who backs these drivers could hit it big. You can see all of the model’s NASCAR picks, props, and projected leaderboard over at SportsLine.
So who wins the 2025 Brickyard 400, and which longshots are must-backs? Check out the latest 2025 NASCAR at Indianapolis odds below, then visit SportsLine now to see the full NASCAR Indianapolis projected leaderboard, all from the model that has nailed 26 winners, and find out.

One big Midwest city known for its auto racing history.
Two very different tracks.
One weekend of stock-car (and truck) racin’.
It’s coming this weekend from Indianapolis Motor Speedway (heard of it?) and Lucas Oil Raceway, formerly known for a very long time as Indianapolis Raceway Park.
And here’s a fun bit of trivia: Neither is actually in Indianapolis. The historic Brickyard is in the town of Speedway, which was wedged into the city of Indianapolis by many of the same dudes who built the famous racetrack in the early 1900s.
Lucas Oil/Indy Raceway Park is in Brownsburg, 10 miles northwest of downtown Indy. The Brickyard is 2.5 miles around, while Lucas Oil is just over two-thirds of a mile and has quite a history of its own. It’ll get the weekend kicked off Friday with ARCA and NASCAR’s Truck Series, which hopes the batteries are juiced enough to crank after three straight off-weeks.
Let’s look at how your color television will bring it all to you this weekend.

NASCAR To Race At San Diego Naval Base In 2026

In a move that no one saw coming, NASCAR will be turning Naval Base Coronado into a full-blown racetrack for Father’s Day weekend, 2026. That’s right, from June 19 to 21 in summer next year, stock cars will tear across an active military base down in San Diego, in what is shaping up to be one of the most patriotic, cinematic race weekends in NASCAR history. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect, as this once-in-a-generation event also coincides with the Navy’s and the U.S. 250th anniversary celebrations.
The racing lineup? Nothing short of impressive. As a fan, you can expect all three premier NASCAR divisions, i.e., Craftsman Trucks, Xfinity Series, and the Cup Series, going full throttle on a custom hybrid circuit . Picture V8s tearing past hangars, downtown San Diego in the distance, Point Loma rising behind the coastline, and Navy warships lining the harbor, providing a spectacular backdrop for the race.
So, how did this event come to be? According to Ben Kennedy, NASCAR’s executive VP and chief innovation officer, the idea began as a moonshot, and after years of pushing boundaries with races inside stadiums like the LA Coliseum and downtown street circuits like Chicago, the league’s next big leap has to be bold: race at a military base.
Coronado, the birth place of U.S. Naval Aviation with its panoramic views, urban access, and strong military ties, became the obvious choice. NASCAR spent two years planning, collaborating closely with iRacing to design and test the layout virtually, and working hand-in-hand with Navy leadership to bring the vision to life.
While the exact track layout remains under wraps until this fall, officials hint at a unique course with “neighborhoods” where fans can explore more of the facility, some along the base, others near tarmac zones with views of aircraft carriers, military aircraft (hopefully some F/A-18 Super Hornets are in station), and the open SoCal water. One minute you’re hearing the scream of stock cars, the next you’re staring out at Coronado’s breathtaking horizon city skyline to one side, battleships to the other. The fan experience will be immersive, patriotic, and unlike anything else in motorsport.
Tickets officially go on sale this fall, but deposits are already being accepted at NASCARSanDiego.com. Friday will kick off with a Military Day featuring service members front and center, followed by two days of racing open to all. Expect NASCAR at Coronado to be loud, fast, and unforgettable; a celebration of speed, service, and the American spirit.
