Beard competed in two other Cup Series races in 2025, with Xfinity Series star Jesse Love behind the wheel.

He got caught up in a race-ending wreck at Texas Motor Speedway in May, but he had a much better result in July at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The 20-year-old secured a 24th-place finish, which is Beard Motorsports’ best Cup Series result on a non-superspeedway circuit in team history.

Don’t miss

Love is one of the hottest properties in NASCAR after a highly impressive Xfinity Series season. He heads into Sunday’s IAA and Ritchie Bros. 250 at Martinsville well placed to qualify for the Xfinity Series Championship 4.

Richard Childress Racing talent Love is third in the standings as the playoffs near their climax, drawing attention from other teams, but he confirmed this week that he will be back with RCR in 2026.

“I’m proud to continue my relationship with Richard Childress Racing and look forward to building upon our already strong foundation,” Love said. “Whelen’s strong commitment to motorsports is unmatched.

“Thank you to Sonny, Geoff, Peter, and everyone at [anchor sponsor] Whelen Engineering for their faith in me. My goal is to go out and win races and championships for RCR and Whelen.”
