With the Early Signing Period taking the shine off National Signing Day, the first February in Wednesday isn’t as special as it used to be. Only a handful of top recruits in the Class of 2025 entered today uncommitted.According the 247, for the first-time ever, the University of Texas has the top recruiting class in the nation. The Longhorns are followed by Georgia and Alabama. The first non-SEC team is 2024 national champ Ohio State at No. 4. Oregon rounds out the Top 5The only uncommitted player in the Top 100 (below), not signed, is Miami Northwestern (Florida) cornerback J’Vari Flowers, who recently reclassified to the Class of 2025.Denton Ryan (Texas) offensive tackle Ty Haywood was the highest-ranked uncommitted player in 247Sports Composite Rankings to commit on Wednesday. The 4-star prospect, ranked No. 39 by 247, signed with Michigan after giving his verbal to Alabama. Haywood didn’t sign in December, which opened the door for Michigan to flip him to the Maize and Blue.
