Nebraska volleyball vs Kentucky recap, stats, and highlights
The No. 1-ranked Nebraska volleyball team received its first test of the 2025 season when it faced the No. 7-ranked Kentucky Wildcats in the Broadway Block Party in Nashville, TN. The Huskers fell down two sets to none but were able to storm back and win the match in a reverse sweep (24-26, 20-25, 25-19, 25-23, 15-8).
Harper Murray led the Huskers with a career high 23 kills for a .340 attack percentage. Bergen Reilly had 46 assists while also contributing a team-high 18 digs. The Husker defense was able to hold the Wildcat offense to a .168 attack percentage, including a stifling -0.143 attack percentage in the fifth set.
Nebraska is now 13-2 all-time against Kentucky and has won the last 12 meetings. Husker head coach Dani Busboom Kelly was 4-3 against the Wildcats in her eight seasons at Louisville.
