History was made at Hot Rod Drag Week 2025 as Ned Dunphy claimed the world record for the quickest overall drag-and-drive average.

The previous record of 6.1918 seconds was held by Jeff Lutz, set nine years ago at Hot Rod Drag Week 2016. All Motor Small Block star Glen Sheeley won with an 8.371 average, a new world drag-and-drive record for naturally aspirated small blocks. All Motor Big Block honors went to Philip Tobin in his Corvette.

Super Street Big Block was won by Sean Lemire with an 8.762 average. Super Street Small Block was taken by Chris Welch on a 7.967 average.
