MIAMI, OK — NEO A&M Men’s Basketball kicked off their annual summer youth camps on Monday afternoon.

The team welcomed in ages six through 15 with sessions running until Wednesday, July 3rd.

“This is a great opportunity for our team to build leadership skills for the season and have the chance to be able to teach the youth,” first year head coach Blake Mills mentions. “These kids look up to [our team] like they’re their super heros. I want them to realize that when they step foot on this campus not only are they representing themselves, but they’re representing NEO and the community.”

“When I was growing up I had good leaders in the camps helping me out,” Tulsa native and sophomore guard Cedric Dixon adds. “I want to be that same leader for the the kids. It’s always been a good and fun camp and I’m excited to teach and coach it now as an actual player.”
