From The Guys
“I’m just kind of grateful I was able to be a part of a program like this,” Reese said. “This is a blessing to be a part through the ups and downs. And I feel like I kind of came out, even though we lost, I came out with my chin up and we fought hard and we just weren’t able to get it done.”What a sequence from Ja’kobi Gillespie out of the break #MarchMadness @TerrapinHoops pic.twitter.com/uH90a9SAYxHey, Donta!

He ends his career ranking second on Maryland’s all-time rebounds list (1,014), eighth on Maryland’s all-time blocked shots (179) and 20th all-time in program history for scoring (1,488). In addition to the career marks set by Queen and Reese, the Terps recorded their best 3-point shooting season in program history as a team. Willard’s Take
“Extremely disappointed that the season’s over and it’s a tough loss, but thrilled what this group of guys was able to come together and do and the season that we had,” head coach Kevin Willard said. “Just proud of them. They fought all year long. Starting off in conference play 1-3, and finding a way and battling and ended up with 14 Big Ten wins and making the Sweet 16 with only two guys that ever played in the NCAA Tournament before. So extremely proud. This was by far the best team I’ve ever been around.” Ja’Kobi Gillespie lines one up from deep and the lead is down to four. pic.twitter.com/jEEk1TpqeqJULIAN REESE AND ONE @TerrapinHoops pic.twitter.com/UdwpYUFXnK
