NORTHWEST ARKANSAS, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A Northwest Arkansas-based streamer claims to be the first digital content creator to fully sponsor a NASCAR Cup Series car.

Rexzilla, a Har-Ber High School graduate with strong Northwest Arkansas family ties, has 124k followers on Facebook and 21.7k followers on the streaming platform Kick. He initially gained attention with Call of Duty montages.

Rezxilla is the first digital creator to sponsor a NASCAR Cup series car. Other content creators like the comedy group SuperMega have done so in the Xfinity Series, according to Toby Christie’s Michael Carey. Logan Paul and KSI previously sponsored Timmy Hill in the Xfinity Series through Prime Hydration in 2022.

The car’s hood and sides are branded with Rexzilla. The front bumper also includes the Kick logo and a URL for Rexzilla’s Kick page.

In other words, Rezxilla is claiming the distinction of being the first creator whose personal identity alone fully sponsors a Cup Series car.

The car, driven by Cody Ware (#51), will feature Rexzilla’s branding as the primary paint scheme throughout a Oct. 26 race at Martinsville Speedway.

The sponsorship announcement was made during Rexzilla’s appearance on the Kick Talk podcast, hosted by Kick CEO Eddie Craven.

“This is more than just a sponsorship, it’s a way to show that creators can play a major role in mainstream sports,” Rexzilla said during his announcement on Kick Talk. “We’re bringing the energy of the Kick community straight to NASCAR.”

Rexzilla also announced the sponsorship via X:

According to Rexzilla’s media specialist Alex, Rexzilla has been a fan of NASCAR since childhood, and “spent years attending races and following the community closely.”

“This opportunity allows him to combine his lifelong love of NASCAR with his career in streaming and gaming — and, in doing so, make history,” Alex said.
