Ohio State’s Kameron Nelson is bound for the 2025 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, which will be held Oct. 19-25 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Nelson, whose OSU career recently concluded after five years, joins five other gymnasts on the United States men’s team. He was chosen to compete in floor exercise and rings based on his performances at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships in New Orleans.

Nelson earned 2025 NCAA All-American status in vault and floor exercise after finishing first and third nationally in each event.

He was a 2024 NCAA All-American after finishing seventh in floor exercise and was a three-time 2023 NCAA All-American in floor (third), vault (fifth) and all-around (sixth).

Nelson is from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and competed all five years of his eligible collegiate seasons for Ohio State.

Among his accomplishments, Nelson completed two triple backs in a single floor routine and became the first gymnast in the world to complete that challenge.
