SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse senior Olivia Adamson and graduate student Emma Ward are members of the Nike Lacrosse Preseason Women’s Media All-America Team. Adamson earned a spot on the second team, while Ward was a third-team selection.
Adamson is ranked the No. 10 player in the nation by Inside Lacrosse. She earned IWLCA All-America Third Team honors last season when she recorded career highs in goals (58), assists (25) and points (83). Adamson was selected to the All-Northeast Region and All-ACC First Team in 2024.
Ward comes in at No. 24 on Inside Lacrosse’s list of the top 50 players heading into the 2025 campaign. She led the team in assists last season (37) and was third points (81). Ward posted five or more points in six games in 2024 when she earned honorable mention All-America accolades from Inside Lacrosse and US Lacrosse Magazine. In addition, Ward earned a spot on the ACC All-Tournament Team.
