Pack Running Pushes Eagles to Second in Tallahassee

TALLAHASSEE, FLA. – The Eagles traveled to Apalachee Regional Park for the HOKA + Nights of Thunder Cross Country Fest, securing a second-place team finish behind standout performances from the freshmen.

Georgia Southern locked in the runner-up spot as Florida Southern took first, powered by its top-three runners placing third, fourth, and fifth.

Freshman Elizabeth Stamey led the way for the Eagles, claiming second overall with a GS personal-best time of 18:45.57.

10 Eagles placed inside the top-25. Tristen Crosby, Meg Anderson, Lauren Voutour, and Gabi Westfall finished back-to-back in spots 13 through 16, while Katie Casto followed at No. 19. Ava Schmitt (20th), Julia Wilson (21st), Hannah Douglas (22nd), and Rebecca Stratton (24th) rounded out the strong pack finish, with Rylan Holmquist closing Georgia Southern’s entries in 41st.
