The Springdale senior has committed to play for Arkansas starting in the fall of 2025.

SPRINGDALE, Ark. — For Isaiah Sealy, a senior forward from Springdale, basketball has been an integral part of his life.

“As a kid, my father was a trainer, so I spent a lot of time in the gym, working out alongside older athletes he was training,” Sealy shared.

The experiences with his father are now yielding results, as he stands out as the top forward in Arkansas on several recruiting platforms, including ESPN and 24/7 Sports.

“He excels at organizing the team and enhancing his teammates’ skills,” commented head coach Jeremy Price. “His practice performance translates smoothly to the games.”

During his junior year, Sealy recorded an average of roughly 28 points and eight rebounds per game, attracting interest from prominent universities nationwide, such as California and Ole Miss.

“I wanted to find a place where my playing style would fit, allowing for fast transitions, good team integration, and being a positive influence in the locker room,” Sealy noted.

Ultimately, his choice of school ensures that his support network will be just around 20 minutes from campus.

“I’m thrilled about that, albeit a bit biased since I’m a Razorback supporter,” Price admitted. “I’m happy he’ll be close to home, allowing me to witness his development.”

Before Sealy embarks on his journey with the John Calipari regime, his focus remains on completing his tenure with the Bulldogs in a memorable way by clinching the first state championship in the program’s history.

“It would be incredibly meaningful,” stated Sealy. “During our sophomore year, we made it to Hot Springs but came up short, so for me and my teammates who experienced that, winning this time would mean everything.”
