It’s time to voice your opinion! Vote for the Gainesville area’s best high school volleyball player for the 2025 season out of 11 nominees.

Gym lights in the Gainesville area have been off since basketball concluded in late winter, sitting dormant for five months.

Next week, that officially changes when high school volleyball returns to the fold.

Like most years, Santa Fe and Gainesville High are powerhouses in the larger classifications. But what’s in store for the two-time defending state runner up Branford? What about Union County and its bevy of returning talent?

And who even are some of those top returners for each team? That’s where we’re here to help.

We at the Gainesville Sun picked 37 of the top players to venture back to North-Central Florida for the 2025 season. The list was released Thursday and featured a mix of players from 11 schools from Class 6A to the Rural class.
