Alac Adams, Monroe boys swimming: Dropped 3 seconds off his previous best in the 200-yard freestyle sliced off 5 seconds in the 500 as he won both events for the Trojans in the first meet of the season.
JC Arnheim, Dundee wrestling: Pinned all five of his opponents in the Monroe County Sheriff’s Invitational, including an 11-second stick for the fastest pin of the tournament.
Emily Bladen, Milan girls basketball: Poured in a career-high 39 points Tuesday.
Nina Clements, New Boston Huron girls basketball: Tossed in a career-high 22 points Monday and finished with 30 for the week as Huron won twice.
Ian Foster, SMCC boys basketball: Poured in 31 points to help the Falcons win their season opener.
Daniel Gemmel, New Boston Huron wrestling: Named the Most Outstanding Wrestler at the Monroe County Sheriff’s Invitational.
Emily Hill, Whiteford girls basketball: Dropped in two free throws in the final minute to give the Bobcats a win over Erie Mason.
Jha Jha Hornback, Summerfield boys basketball: Pushed his scoring average to 17 per game with 14 and 24-point efforts for the 6-0 Bulldogs.
Adela Illes, SMCC girls basketball: Helped the Kestrels win twice with a career-high 22 points Monday and 13 on Thursday.
Jaeli Jones, Summerfield girls basketball: Netted a total of 40 points in two games to help the Bulldogs move to 5-0.
Graham Junge, Flat Rock boys basketball: Got the Rams off to a 2-0 start in the Huron League with 27 points Tuesday and 29 Friday.
Isaac Kemp, Airport wrestling: Won the 190-pound title at the Monroe County Sheriff’s Invitational with three pins and a win over Owen Motylinski of Dundee in the finals.
Alivia LeBrun, Jefferson girls basketball: Scored a career-high 18 points Monday and added 11 Thursday.
Tyler Martin, Gibraltar Carlson boys basketball: Logged a career-high 18 points Thursday.
Jessica Schrader, Ida girls basketball: Topped 1,000 career points with a 26-point game against Dundee Friday.
Owen Snyder, Ida boys basketball: Celebrated his birthday with 15 points Tuesday, then hit a career-high 18 points Friday.
Cameron Tross, Erie Mason-Ida boys swimming: Won the 200 and 500-yard freestyles with state-qualifying times and also helped a relay hit a state cut in a win over Woodhaven.
Danny VanEeckhoutte, Erie Mason wrestling: Ran his season record to 9-0 by winning the 103-pound title at the Monroe County Sheriff’s Invitational.
