Preseason announcement for Athlos Life youth wrestling season; parents’ meeting Sept. 10 | The Herald Times

MEEKER | The competitive folkstyle season will begin in December this year and will conclude with the elementary/middle school state tournament. That season will be followed by a competitive freestyle season and will continue through the freestyle state tournament.

If you are interested in learning more, please reach out to [email protected], and please attend the upcoming parents’ meeting listed below. We will be discussing the upcoming season schedule, rules, expectations, mission, and values. Additionally, we will begin the process of ordering our team gear, which will take 6 to 8 weeks to be shipped to us. This should give us plenty of time to ensure we have all of our team gear and are ready to go for another epic season. Upcoming Dates:

• Preseason parents’ meeting: Wednesday 9/10/2025 at 7:00 p.m. in the front seating area at Meeker High School

• Competitive folkstyle season start date: Monday 12/1/2025 at 5:30 p.m. at 301 Rimrock Drive Meeker, CO

• Competitive folkstyle season end date: Saturday March 21st

• Competitive freestyle season start date: March 30th

• Competitive freestyle season end date: TBD
