To the excitement of the audience at Melrose Ballroom in Queens, New York, he quickly made a mark.
Matt Riddle and “Filthy” Tom Lawlor welcomed Bischoff to MLW, provoking him. Bischoff arranged for Riddle to face Donovan Dijak, putting Riddle’s title shot at stake. Should Riddle lose, Dijak would snag the MLW World Heavyweight Championship opportunity at the organization’s inaugural premium live event of 2025, titled “Kings of Colosseum,” going up against Satoshi Kojima.
But Bischoff was not done yet. He paired Paul Walter Hauser with Matthew Justice for a tag team match against Rogue Horsemen members Brock and CW Anderson, which transformed into a New York City street fight.
The most surprising moment of the evening unfolded when Alex Kane shared some pointed remarks with Bischoff, taking a jab at Bischoff’s past career and his exit from WCW.

Security personnel attempted to apprehend “The Suplex Assassin,” but were met with a series of suplexes. Eventually, Kane’s partner Mr. Thomas subdued him and escorted him out.
This was the standout moment of the night—until the show’s conclusion.
Bischoff was spotted gazing at a cluster of skyscrapers while on the phone, holding an MLW contract.
