Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures, long has been considered a strong prognosticator for the Best Picture Oscar, with 16 of the past 21 winners going on to triumph at the Academy Awards. Last awards season followed the trend as the PGA honored Oppenheimer, setting the gilded stage for the Christopher Nolan film’s Oscar triumph two weeks later. The 37th PGA Awards ceremony is set for Saturday, February 8, at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles. Nominations for Theatrical Motion Pictures, Animated Motion Pictures, Television Series/Specials and Streamed or Televised Motion Pictures will be revealed Friday, January 10. The Sports, Children’s and Short Form lists arrive Friday, December 13.
