The product of Canmore, Alberta, Canada covered the course in 40:57.1.Other Bobcat finishers included Rose Whittington-Evans, 24th, 43:20.7, Maeve MacLeod, 28th, 44:24.3, and Kate Oldham, 32nd, 50:39.0.Denver’s Andreas Kirkeng won the men’s freestyle title in 34:49.5.Pryce, MSU’s top finisher in the event, recorded a top 10 showing for the 17th time in her career at Montana State.Other MSU finishers included Phineas Fischer, 27th, 38:07.1, and Joel Power, 29th, 39.29.0.Utah’s Erica Laven won the event in 39:30.0.Gavin Galyardt, a sophomore from McCall, Idaho, paced the Bobcats men’s team, finishing 15th in 36:04.4. He was followed in MSU’s top three by Grey Barbier, 20th, 36:41.2, and Jack Conde, 24th, 37:36.6.After the Nordic portion of the Utah Invitational, the host Utes sit atop the team standings with 389 points. They are followed by DU 331.5, Colorado 299, Alaska Anchorage 227, Alaska Fairbanks 217.5, and MSU 207.The alpine events take place Feb. 8-9 at Utah Olympic Park in Park City.
