  • Rhode Island makes the trip to George Mason for the second meeting of the season between the two teams.
  • Back on Jan. 12, the Patriots came to the Ryan Center and escaped with a 71-65 win in Kingston.
  • The win by George Mason snapped a five-game win streak in the series by the Rams that dated back to Feb. 2, 2020. 
  • Point guard Ines Debroise was exceptional off the bench in the game, finishing with 12 points, three assists and three steals. Center Harsimran “Honey” Kaur had a team-best 17 points, 14 rebounds and two blocked shots.
  • It’s the first trip to EagleBank Arena for URI since Jan. 25, 2023 in a 57-53 Rhody win. 
  • The Rams are 7-5 in the all-time series with George Mason.

  • George Mason leads the league with 21 wins on the season. 
  • Last time out, the Patriots beat Fordham 70-43 en route to their ninth straight win. 
  • Wednesday’s game will be the third straight Ram opponent for George Mason. Before defeating the Bronx-based Rams Sunday, the Patriots handed the Rams of VCU a 66-48 loss at EagleBank Arena last week.
  • George Mason has three players averaging double-figures in scoring, led by Kennedy Harris who adds 14.8 points per game.

  • Rhode Island guard Ines Debroise has climbed her way up the Rhody record book.
  • After dishing out three assists last time out against Dayton, Debroise has moved to eighth all-time with 280 career assists.
  • She passed former Rams Dena Cocchiola (278, 1996-99) and Kathy Greenberg (279, 1987-91) to claim the spot.
  • Next on the list is Tracey Hathaway, who had 298 during her career in Kingston (1982-86).
  • The all-time leader in assists is Rhody great Dayna Smith (793, 1992-96).
  • Debroise missed three games due to injury before making her return in the game against Duquesne (Feb. 5).
  • The guard is second on the team in assists, dishing out 3.4 per game. 
  • She adds 7.9 points each time out.
