A three-year varsity basketball performer for Cooperstown, Seamon led the 2024-25 squad in steals and rebounds, and was the second-leading scorer. She was selected as the most valuable player in Section III’s Class C tournament during which she accumulated 45 points, 32 rebounds and 19 steals in wins against Beaver River, Sandy Creek, West Canada Valley and Hamilton, the top seed.She added 18 points and six rebounds last weekend in a 55-48 regional playoff win over Section IV’s Delaware Academy of Delhi.In online voting, Seamon received 35 of the 56 votes cast – 62.5 % – to top a field of three nominees, all basketball players whose teams competed in regionals.
