Reeves Wins NSIC Track Athlete of the Week

BURNSVILLE, Minn. – For the second time this season, Minnesota State sprinter Jabez Reeves was named NSIC Track Athlete of the Week by the conference office on Tuesday (Feb. 11).Reeves returned to the Mavericks after competing for Liberia in the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France. He was also named NSIC Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week on Jan. 21.Reeves (Woodbridge, Virginia) took second in the 60 meter dash with a time of 6.73 at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational last week. The time was tied for 16th in Division II this season. Reeves also finished second in the 200 meters with a time of 21.21, which ranks seventh in Division II this season. Minnesota State Men’s Track & Field Athletes of the Week (2024-25)

Minnesota State hosts the Maverick Premier #1 on Friday at Myers Field House and the Maverick Premier #2 on Saturday at Myers Field House.
