Their composite score came to 4,738, beating out Kentucky by a single point to win their 20th team national championship.Senior Natalie Perrin and sophomore Griffin Lake impressed on Friday, with both finishing top-five in smallbore. Perrin scored 592, good for third place, and narrowly beat out Lake’s 591. While Lake’s score was matched, he hit 43 centers, more than any competitor besides the University of Alaska Fairbanks’ Rachael Charles who finished first in smallbore.Additionally, Blake earned a podium finish in air rifle individual competition, qualifying with a 597 score and finishing third with 228.9 points.

Perrin’s 598 score earned her fourth place, as Blake and Lake both scored 597. Blake hit 52 centers to Lake’s 51, awarding her fifth and Lake sixth.
