The Toledo Athletic Department encourages participation even if there is no immediate internship or job opportunities.
“Rockets Rise: Networking & NIL Night” will provide current student-athletes the opportunity to network with employers and discuss potential opportunities in the following areas: internships, mentorships, Name Image Likeness (NIL), part-time and full-time employment.
Registration for “Rockets Rise: Networking & NIL Night” is 0 and the deadline to register  is Jan. 25. Once registration and payment are complete, a confirmation will be sent out with additional details. Register online at https://app.utrockets.com/rocketsrise.
The University of Toledo Athletic Department will host its second annual “Rockets Rise: Networking & NIL Night” for employers to connect with current student-athletes on potential opportunities and employment on Wednesday, Feb. 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Savage Arena.
Employers and companies will check in at 5 p.m. to set up their tables, and the event will be open for the students from 6 to 8 p.m.

This event will benefit the student-athletes as they explore various career paths and seek valuable networking experiences, and employers can identify potential talent for future partnerships. This event will also offer a unique opportunity to engage with student-athletes in Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) activities. This will allow employers to discuss potential collaborations and partnerships, providing student-athletes with valuable insight as all parties navigate the evolving NIL landscape.
