San Marcos boys water polo rounded out the Long Beach Poly Tournament with a win and a loss on Saturday in Long Beach.
The Royals dropped a high-scoring affair with La Jolla by a score of 15-14 before pulling out a 9-8 victory over Poway High.
In the win over Poway, Jake Magid led the Royals in scoring with a trio of goals while Will Stuart scored two of his own.
Meanwhile, Stuart and Christian Yonker tallied three goals apiece against La Jolla, and Magid added in two more goals in the loss.
San Marcos will compete in the Santa Barbara Invitational beginning on Thursday of next week.
