Over the years, the Sunday of the weekend has also become known as the year’s biggest day in auto racing. The most popular racing circuits in Europe (Formula One) and the United States (NASCAR) are joined by the world’s oldest continuous style of racing (Indy-cars) and America’s longest-running auto race — the Indy 500, dating back to 1911.
