ST. CLOUD — The St. Cloud State women’s hockey team released its complete 2025-26 schedule on Friday, Aug. 1.

The Huskies have added two series and one in-season event with nonconference opponents to its schedule. SCSU will travel to Washington, D.C., to play Colgate (N.Y.) and Clarkson (N.Y.) in the 2025 D1 in DC event.

The schedule has 34 regular games and one exhibition, including 17 home games (eight series and one exhibition) at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.

For the seventh consecutive season (excluding 2020-21, when only conference teams were played), St. Cloud State will play a series against Lindenwood. It will mark the second straight season that the Huskies open their schedule against the Lions, who will make the trip to St. Cloud (Sept. 19-20). The following weekend (Sept. 26-27), the Huskies travel to Storrs, Connecticut, to play UConn for the first time since 2018.

In late November, SCSU will play in the fifth iteration of the D1 in DC event in Washington, D.C. The Huskies will play Colgate (Nov. 28) and Clarkson (Nov. 29) at the MedStar Capitals Iceplex, the practice arena of the National Hockey League’s Washington Capitals.

The Huskies will play 16 regular season games inside the Brooks Center, with WCHA series against St. Thomas (Oct. 17-18), Minnesota Duluth (Oct. 31-Nov. 1), Wisconsin (Nov. 14-15), Ohio State (Jan. 9-10), Minnesota State (Feb. 6-7) and Bemidji State (Feb. 13-14) and home-and-home games against Minnesota (Oct. 11 and Jan. 23) already announced.

Following the regular season, the WCHA Tournament will begin with all eight league teams playing in the first round, with seeding set by the regular season standings. The top four seeds each host a best-of-three quarterfinal series the weekend of Feb. 27-March 1, and the four winners will advance to meet at the WCHA Final Faceoff on March 5-7 at Lee & Penny Anderson Arena on the campus of St. Thomas in St. Paul.

In the final 2024-25 United States College Hockey Online (USCHO)/USA Hockey National polls, SCSU finished ranked No. 12, its second best final ranking in program history.
