Seacrest volleyball forfeits wins, fined, player suspended by FHSAA
The Seacrest Country Day volleyball team forfeited all of its regular-season wins, received a fine, and a Stingrays player has been suspended for a year after an FHSAA investigation found the school provided the player an impermissible housing benefit.
In a letter sent to the school, the FHSAA determined that Seacrest arranged for Ava Daviault, a senior who transferred from Maine, to live with a parent of a teammate, which violates state policy. Seacrest self-reported the violation.
