Sports Entertainment Group Ltd (SEN) has acquired a majority stake in the Perth Lynx, the Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) franchise, continuing its strategic expansion in women’s sport. This move builds on SEN’s ongoing involvement in managing the Lynx’s operations, and complements its ownership of other Australian and New Zealand women’s teams, including the Bendigo Spirit and Southern Hoiho.

SEN’s increased investment comes after Perth-based couple, Jodi Millhahn and Christian Hauff, who initially secured the franchise’s future, agreed to partner with SEN. They will remain on the club’s board and continue their leadership role in the franchise.

SEN’s CEO, Craig Hutchison, highlighted the strong basketball culture in Perth, amplified by the club’s success and community support. The partnership with Millhahn and Hauff aims to drive long-term growth for the Lynx, with a focus on expanding the team’s reach and building sustainable success both on and off the court.
