Franklin to MSU is a lot higher odds than you think. I don’t think a major will hire him because he can’t win a big game, but we would be lucky to have him and desperately need a big hire. He can run a big program and, at the very least, make us relevant. He also knows exactly how to deal with a scandal ridden team…
I can’t imagine we fire smith before UM because of the optics but WHEN we lose that game it’s the perfect cover to do so
