Seven Ospreys Tabbed to CSC At-Large Academic All-District Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. – North Florida student-athletes from the men’s golf, women’s golf and beach volleyball programs represented seven selections on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) At-Large Academic All-District Team, as announced by the national organization on Tuesday afternoon.

Justin Ross was the lone academic selection for men’s golf, while Kaitlyn Schroeder and Kaitlynn Washburn each earned honors for women’s golf. A quartet of Ospreys from the beach volleyball squad, which includes Mackenzie Murphy, Presley Murray, Hayden Wooldridge and Madison Espy were also recognized with national distinctions.

Ross follows in the footsteps of former Osprey teammates Lance Yates and Andrew Riley as the third-ever CSC selection in men’s golf program history. The Osprey women’s golf program extends its D-I total to nine selections, as Schroeder and Washburn join Ross as first-time CSC Academic All-District honorees.

Beach volleyball earned four selections for a second consecutive season to receive 11 over the past three seasons. Murphy, Murray and Espy are all back-to-back honorees for the Ospreys, while Wooldridge has earned a selection in each of the past three years dating back to 2013.

The 2025 CSC Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation’s finest student-athletes on and off the field. Honorees advance to the All-American round, with CSC Academic All-America Team selections released on July 8-9.

About the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Award

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in their sport and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

 

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 8-9. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the links above.

 

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
