On Saturday, Michigan football head coach Sherrone Moore energized the crowd at Crisler Center by performing a flag-plant move, just a week following the Wolverines’ victory over Ohio State.
While attending a Wolverines men’s basketball matchup versus Iowa alongside five-star prospect Bryce Underwood, who committed to Michigan the previous month, Moore was featured on the scoreboard and energized the audience during a first-half pause. In his effort to get the venue roaring, he chose to remind everyone of last week’s postgame events that sparked a brawl.

The flag-planting issue entered the NCAA conversation last week after multiple other matches experienced postgame conflicts.
Both Michigan and Ohio State faced a $100,000 fine from the Big Ten due to the brawl that ensued after Michigan’s fourth consecutive victory over their rivals.
