This contestant at pond skim event at Alyeska Ski Resort in Alaska chose the latter option and pulled off what might be the best pond skim run of all-time. Cache Bridges maxed out his speed, tossed a picturesque double backflip, and somehow remained on his feet after landing on the far side of the pond. Cache felt he was robbed at the previous year’s event and wanted to leave no doubt in the judges mind as to who was king of the pond skim. He justifiably won the contest.
