Of one of those encounters, the suit alleges that, “approximately one week later, Mr. Bayless made another advance at Ms. Faraji. Ms. Faraji responded: ‘Skip, stop, you have a wife.’ Mr. Bayless responded: ‘Aren’t you Muslim? Doesn’t your dad have three to four wives?’ Ms. Faraji responded that her father was dead, and when Mr. Bayless looked taken aback, she made an excuse to leave.”After Undisputed was cancelled in Aug. 2024 and Bayless left Fox, Faraji was allegedly informed by her supervisor, Gina Porretti, that her services were no longer needed. After an investigation, Fox allegedly told Faraji that “they can only afford to have one hairdresser” to work across three of their shows—a claim Faraji alleges was a pretext for retaliation.“Surprisingly, Ms. Taylor responded with ‘get over it’ and explained that she herself only had her job because of Mr. Dixon and that Ms. Faraji only had her job because Ms. Taylor requested her. She warned that Mr. Dixon could take “both away.” Faraji alleges that Fox Sports executive Charlie Dixon used his influence to promote Joy Taylor due to their sexual relationship, despite being married at the time.“When Ms. Faraji and others came forward to report the wrongdoing, instead of addressing their concerns, Fox retaliated against them while the perpetrators and those who protected them were inexplicitly promoted,” reads the suit.In a statement made to Front Office Sports, Fox Sports said, “We take these allegations seriously and have no further comment at this time given this pending litigation.”The lawsuit names Fox, Fox Sports executives, Bayless, Taylor, and related Fox entities as defendants and seeks class-action status for other employees who may have experienced similar treatment.“At this point, Ms. Faraji seeks justice,” the suit continues. “She knows that Mr. Dixon used his position of power to coerce women into having sex with him and used it as justification to grope Ms. Faraji. She knows that Mr. Dixon did not immediately fire her (after Ms. Taylor and Ms. Faraji had a falling out) only to appease Mr. Bayless by providing him with a plaything.”Faraji, a single mother, also alleges harassment from other high-profile Fox figures, including Skip Bayless, who she said made advances towards her, such as “lingering hugs after each haircut, putting his body against her own, pressing against her breasts.”A former Fox Sports staffer has accused Skip Bayless, Joy Taylor, and other notable people at the network of creating a toxic working environment, During a birthday party Taylor held in West Hollywood, Faraji alleged that Dixon “started rubbing her body and grabbing her buttocks.”According to a 42-page lawsuit reviewed by Front Office Sports, Noushin Faraji, who worked at the sports network as a hairstylist from 2012 through last August, alleges workplace misconduct, including sexual harassment and retaliation during her tenure.“Despite Ms. Faraji being an excellent hairdresser and continuously being requested by talent, she was shrunken down to how much she could appease Mr. Bayless, and once Mr. Bayless was gone, so was her job.”Faraji is seeking unspecified damages for emotional distress, and labor law violations, along with injunctive relief to prevent further misconduct.Per the complaint, Faraji “was forced to endure a misogynistic, racist, and ableist workplace where executives and talent were allowed to physically and verbally abuse workers with impunity.”Further into the complaint, Faraji alleges that Bayless offered her .5 million to have sex with him. She said she would try to deflect by pointing out cameras and a potential cancer diagnosis in her left ovary but her objections weren’t respected. The lawsuit claims that Taylor became hostile towards Faraji after they ended their friendship in 2021, reportedly mocking the hairstylist’s Persian heritage and her humming—a PTSD coping mechanism. At the time, Taylor reportedly requested a “Black hairstylist” which allegedly led to Faraji being removed from different show assignments on the network.
