Smart Fit Method uses high tech to take guesswork out of fitness – San Diego Union-Tribune
Smart Fit Method, with a location in La Jolla and several others in San Diego and Orange counties as well as Utah, bills itself as a high-tech fitness studio.
It combines artificial intelligence, exercise robotics, custom apps, personal trainer support and health research “to give you a smooth, focused and intimate workout experience.”
The La Jolla Light asked La Jolla assistant manager and lead trainer Tylee Low the following questions to find out more.
Q. How and when did Smart Fit Method begin?
A. Smart Fit Method was founded in 2021 to revolutionize traditional fitness by merging science, technology and personal training. Our goal was to create a smarter, more efficient way for people to build strength, improve their health and extend their longevity — all while fitting into busy lifestyles.
In La Jolla, we’ve built a community around the idea that fitness should be personalized, empowering and sustainable for the long haul.
Q. How would you describe your mission?
A. Our mission is to help people live stronger, healthier and longer lives. We use cutting-edge technology and personalized programming to optimize strength, body composition, metabolic health and recovery — all while making the fitness journey measurable, motivating and sustainable. We believe everyone deserves access to science-backed fitness methods that not only transform their bodies but enhance their quality of life.
Q. What makes Smart Fit Method unique compared with similar businesses?
A. Smart Fit Method isn’t a typical gym, it’s a data-driven, results-focused experience.
